​Dream It. Create It. Live It.  Mellissa Meeks is the owner, and Creative Designer behind MellMee, LLC.   She dreams in the early morning hours, about her art and designs, in wonderful colors, textures and themes…inspired by these vivid dreams, she sets out to quickly create collections and series of art designs for the innovative products for Mellmee, LLC , which explored the possibilities, and  had manufactured  “Artware Bakeware” and matching art designed Kitchen Linens (aprons, tea towels, oven mitts, and pot holders.

Mellissa is delighted that she will be a vendor at this year's Country Living Fair, to be held in Nashville, TN, August 14-16, 2020.  She will be showcasing several new art designed products featuring her "Fresh Lemons" and "Southern Citrus" on new ceramic bakeware, as well as new matching kitchen linens, Made in India.

Mellissa recently launched her own cooking and baking segments, "Southern Dash of This and That" YouTube Channel.  Mellissa is a southern cook and baker, with her own cookbook, "Family Traditions" and loves to demonstrate her southern recipes and films from her southern kitchen in Huntsville, AL.  Her husband Jeff is her camera man, with their trusty Golden Doodle, Dawson as his wingman.

 Mellissa has been a featured Artisan and Designer with Williams-Sonoma East Cobb, Atlanta, GA in October 2017, while conducting a baking demo, showcasing her beautiful Artware Bakeware products, including her hand-painted art designed Artisan mixer available during a pop-up sales event.

Mellissa is an accomplished artisan and designer,  and is emerging as a fresh and exciting surface pattern illustrator  Her years of experience and dedication to the world of creative design, has resulted in an extensive background showcasing different mediums to include acrylic and oil, digital, mixed media, collage and gorgeous originality an authenticity to her design portfolio.

Her  brand is very distinct, vintage, southern and nostalgic - her southern style sets her apart, and established her as a sought after designer for her unique authenticity with her original hand-painted one-of-a-kind designs,  often considered  “timeless” and “appealing” with a vintage southern flair.  

​

She is creating artwork collections and series for a wide variety of markets, specializing in home décor, kitchen, tabletop, stationary, children’s, fabrics, toys, pet supplies, etc.  Her art and designs are available for art branding and licensing.

​

During her busy life, which includes a corporate career, and obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Management, she has built her artist portfolio with many projects…from the large-scale art murals for Huntsville Stars Joe Davis Stadium, conducting art classes, workshops and private commissions – Mellissa has always believed in giving back to her community and participating in Making a Difference with her artwork endeavors.  She is an archived art muralist with Coca-Cola, after officially approved Coca-Cola Public Relations, and completed a vintage restoration of “Go Refreshed” Coca-Cola Art Mural as part of their downtown revitalization project in Moulton, AL in May 2015, and recently, restoring “Coca-Cola’ vintage mural outside The Brick in downtown Decatur, AL in August 2017. She and her husband, Jeff Meeks, are a great team together, married for 34 years, and have two lovely daughters, Caitlin, 22 years old, and Brittany, 32 years old, and her husband, Will Rivard.   Mellissa and Jeff often participate in projects such as the art murals, and recently restoring The Miracle League’s Homer Mascot statue at Field 6, Johnny Franklin Field, Huntsville, AL. 

Mellissa ha launched her new art designed products, innovative “Artware Bakeware” and it became a reality in the summer of 2016,  with the official launch of products with LuLu’s Restaurants Retail Shops, located in Destin, FL and Gulf Shores, AL, inspired by Lucy Buffett’s “A Taste of the Gulf Coast” cookbook. 

These high quality innovative baking pans highlight Mellissa’s beautiful art designs and  manufactured on high-quality non-stick and ceramic coated metal baking pans.  Mellissa’s artwork is fresh, but vintage, whimsical, yet elegant and it depicts a southern flair that resonates with adults as well as children. ​
